Instruction

Initial Meeting: $180 for 55 minutes
Student is formally assessed during this time and a parent meeting is held to discuss results, recommendations, and customized learning plan.

(Optional) Full Written Report: $210

All lessons utilize the Orton-Gillingham approach.

Full Reading Evaluation

The full reading evaluation is administered by our credentialed reading specialist to understand your child’s strengths and weaknesses
in the area of reading and literacy.

The evaluation takes 1-2 hours to complete and includes: assessment time with student, full written report, a scheduled meeting with parent to discuss results, recommendations, and a customized learning plan.

Services

  • Phonics, fluency, phonemic awareness, & reading comprehension

    The Science of Reading is implemented in all reading lessons and progress is supervised by a credentialed reading specialist.

  • Our knowledgeable teachers can teach up to pre-calculus.


    We honor the development of the child and understand that children must learn how to use math in their hands, before they use math in their heads.

  • Our talented tutors provide foreign language tutoring, including Spanish and French.

  • Printing, cursive, & keyboarding skills

    We work closely with an occupational therapist so that we can implement the best practices, while utilizing Handwriting Without Tears!

  • Paragraph to multi-paragraph writing using a variety of genres.

    Students also learn organization of thought, grammar, and literary analysis — all while learning how to do so in an eloquent fashion.

  • Organization and executive functioning are key.


    Our students learn how advocate for themselves in the classroom, as well as learn how to be more responsible and take charge with their learning.
